Artistic Basic Crucifix: This simple Italian silver tone crucifix reminds me of Leonardo Da Vinci's work. Some of my customers use this crucifix instead of the traditional Irish Penal Crucifix for their projects. It is a little over 2 inches tall (including top loop) and 11/16 inch wide. No additional cost.

Celtic Cross: This sweet little Italian silver tone cross features a simple Celtic design without a corpus and is 1 3/8 inch tall (including top loop) and a little over 3/4 inch wide. No additional cost.

Celtic Crucifix (Large):This Italian oxidized silver tone traditional large Celtic crucifix with the word Erin inscribed on the back costs $.65 and also features the traditional Celtic designs. It is 1 7/8 inches tall (including top loop) and just under 1 1/8 inch wide.

Celtic Crucifix (Traditional): This Italian silver tone crucifix costs $.30 and features the traditional Celtic design on the back as well as the front. It is 1 3/4 inches tall (including top loop) and 1 inch wide.

Immaculate Symbols Crucifix: This Italian oxidized silver tone crucifix is decorated with scenes from the Blessed Virgin's life including the Annunciation (on the left), Maternity (center), the Pentecost (on the right), and The Assumption and Coronation (bottom). This is by far one of my most favorite crucifixes! It is 1 7/16 inches tall (including top loop) and just under 1 inch wide. No additional cost.

Irish Penal Crucifix: This Italian silver tone crucifix is an Irish tradition and contains a lot of symbolism. It is 2 1/8 inches tall (including top loop) and a little over 7/8 inch wide. No additional cost.

FRONT:
HAMMER: shown over His hand, used to nail the cross. CROWN: shown over His head, symbolizing crown of thorns. CHALICE: shown below His other hand, from the last supper. CORDS: lines under His hand and to his side, symbols of those used at the Scourging at the Pillar. SPEAR: representing the one used to pierce his side. LADDER: some say this is the one used to remove Him from the cross others say it is a ladder to Heaven. BOWL: some say the bowl at the bottom of the crucifix is the one used for the washing of the feet.

BACK:
COCK AND POT: some say symbolizing the early apocryphal legend relating to Judas the betrayer and others say it symbolizes the roasting cock which suddenly came to life and crowed, prophesying the resurrection. NAILS: the arrow shape on the back is actually the 3 nails used to attach Christ to the cross.

Jerusalem Cross Crucifix: This simple pewter crucifix costs $1.40 and came from Jerusalem. It features the traditional Jerusalem Cross along with the symbols for the Alpha and Omega. It is just under 1 3/4 inches tall (including top loop) by just over 7/8 inch wide.

Renaissance Crucifix: This ornate Italian silver tone crucifix costs $.65 and features the words "Ecce Lignum Crucis, In Quo Salus Mundi" on the front. The translation, "Behold the timber of the cross on which Salvation of the world was suspended". These words come from the Gregorian Chants used during Lent and Easter. It is 1 1/2 inches tall (including top loop) and just over 1 1/8 inch wide.
