Cancer Rosaries for Charity

         My cancer rosaries are dedicated to friends and family members that have passed from various forms of this scary disease. They are a small gesture to help those who are going through, or have recently been through, the trauma of Cancer. At a time when they need to heal, find strength, and process through their grief.        It is not uncommon for those with a severe illness to lose their support systems.  Sometimes family and friends aren’t strong enough to cope with the challenges and sacrifices involved in being there for someone who is very sick. It’s just too difficult for them to watch someone they deeply care about suffer so much.

       I’m hoping my rosaries will be a source of comfort and support for ALL cancer victims (including those who feel completely helpless while their loved one either struggles for their life or loses the battle). They are also a gentle reminder to those who have survived to thank God every day for the gift of life and continue to pray for a cure. 

       The important thing to remember is praying for cancer victims, their families and friends is not enough. We also need to pray for those involved in cancer research, like the drug companies, doctors, scientists, etc. Sometimes their focus strays and their priorities shift to financial gain instead of finding life saving and affordable treatment options.

50% of the profit from these rosaries goes to various charities for Cancer Research.

I had been looking for a pair of red, white & blue rosary beads since I recently lost mine that I bought just after the Sept. 11th tragedy. These are not only my high school colors & I'm what I like to refer to myself as a natural red, white & blue person (red hair, blue eyes, white female). but after 9/11 I dedicated these beads to all those who lost theirs lives as a result of that day (as I will this rosary). The white bead represents the light they saw to heaven, the blue bead represents the Blessed Virgin greeting them and the red bead is the blood they shed that day. This lady is amazing! I wanted to purchase a rosary for an extremely special little girl that I know, for her first communion. I searched the internet and although I found several to choose from, none of them were what I was looking for. That is, until I came across Rosaries by Speziale!
