Even though rosaries aren’t considered jewelry, I felt it important to address the lead issue that’s been so prevalent in the news lately (especially since some of my customers choose to wear their rosaries around their necks). Most cast metal beads, findings, wire and chain on the market today contain small amounts of lead (including my own). All glass and crystal beads also contain trace amounts of lead. Even metal components made without the addition of lead may contain trace amounts naturally that would trigger the new California warning. My vendors have assured me that all of my supplies and parts are safe to wear.

Attention California Residents. Proposition 65 LEAD Warning: Jewelry containing lead should be avoided by children, nursing mothers and pregnant women. Consuming foods or beverages that have been kept or served in leaded crystal products or handling products made of leaded crystal will expose you to lead, a chemical known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm. Jewelry components are not made to be consumed or sucked on.

Cancer Rosaries for Charity

My cancer rosaries are dedicated to friends and family members that have passed from various versions of this scary disease. They are a small gesture to help those who are currently, or have recently, been through the trauma of Cancer, at a time when they need to heal, find strength, and process their grief. It is not uncommon for those with a severe illness to lose their support systems. Sometimes family and friends aren’t strong enough to cope with the challenges involved in truly being there for someone who is very sick. It’s just too difficult for them to watch someone they deeply care about suffer so much.

I’m hoping these rosaries will be a source of comfort and support for ALL cancer victims (including those who feel completely helpless while their loved one either struggles for their life or loses the battle). They are also a gentle reminder to those who have survived to thank God every day for the gift of life and continue to pray for a cure.

Also, we not only need pray for the victims, their families and friends, but also for those involved in cancer research (drug companies, doctors, scientists, etc.). Sometimes their focus strays and they become more caught up in the financial gain than saving lives.

This lady is amazing! I wanted to purchase a rosary for an extremely special little girl that I know, for her first communion. I searched the internet and although I found several to choose from, none of them were what I was looking for. That is, until I came across Rosaries by Speziale! Not out of disappointment, but because it was even more beautiful than I could have possibly imagined. Yesterday I received this rosary in the mail. As amazing as I thought it looked in the photographs, turns out that the photos did not do it justice! INCREDIBLE!
