Product Details
Italian oxidized silver plate Irish Penal crucifix.   Sized at 2 1/8 inches tall (including ring) and 3/4 inch wide.
Priced per crucifix.
HAMMER: shown over His hand, used to nail the cross
CROWN: shown over His head, symbolizing crown of thorns
CHALICE: shown below His other hand, from the last supper
CORDS: lines under His hand and to his side, symbols of those used at the Scourging at the Pillar
SPEAR: representing the one used to pierce his side
LADDER: some say this is the one used to remove Him from the cross others say it is a ladder to Heaven
BOWL: some say the bowl at the bottom of the crucifix is the one used for the washing of the feet

COCK AND POT: some say symbolizing the early apocryphal legend relating to Judas the betrayer and others say it symbolizes the roasting cock which suddenly came to life and crowed, prophesying the resurrection.
NAILS: the arrow shape on the back is actually the 3 nails used to attach Christ to the cross
